Johnsonville Sweet Sausage
White rice
Red and yellow bell peppers
Can of pineapple chunks
Cut sausage into small bite size pieces
Place sausage in large skillet
Pour pineapple juice from the can and cook for 20- 30 mins
Chop both red and yellow bell peppers
Pour in the chopped bell peppers and pineapple chunks into the skillet
Continue to cook for 10-15 mins (or until brown)
Boil water - pour in white rice
Cover and simmer for 20-25 mins
Drain sausage, bell peppers and pineapple when done
Put rice on your plate first and cover it with the sausage, bell peppers and pineapples -- bon appetite!
My mom used to make this quite frequently growing up. It's a quick and tasty dinner that's flexible to volleyball and softball schedules.
It's also pretty sentimental since it's the first meal I've ever cooked. And still might be the only one I'm good at.
