Thoroughly blend together:
1 stick margarine
8 oz package cream cheese
2/3 C. sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Add:
2 C. sifted flour dash of salt

Mix well. Chill. Shape with fingers to form wreaths, Christmas trees, etc. or shape with cookie cutter. Sprinkle with red and green colored sugar, silver candy balls, etc.
Bake 400 oven 8-10 minutes.
These cookies were a family project that as children we made with my mom, later the grandchildren made with my mom. Fun to make and more fun to eat!
