Growing up in tropical Miami, sometimes it was really difficult to keep my brother and sisters entertained on a rainy day when we longed to be outside. If we promised to be good, and be quiet, mom would make us a special treat - peanut butter fudge. After we grew up and left home, the only time we'd have mom's peanut butter fudge was during holidays when we'd travel home. I could never get my mother's recipe to work for me until just recently when I bought a little recipe book that had a peanut butter fudge recipe in it. It's slightly different, but tastes exactly the same. I make it for family get-togethers.
