1 lb. of sausage
1 8 oz. package of cream cheese (softened)
2 packages of crescent rolls

1. Brown and drain sausage.
2. Mix sausage and cream cheese together thoroughly. (This will be easier if the cream cheese is fully softened.)
3. Remove dough from first crescent roll package. Roll flat, and with your fingers, press perforations together so that you are left with one large rectangle.
4. Split sausage mixture in half, and place half on your dough rectangle, forming a "log" of sausage mixture. You should leave a few inches of dough on each side of the sausage.
5. Wrap extra dough around sausage log, and pinch closed.
6. Repeat steps 3 - 5 with second package of crescent rolls and other half of sausage.
7. Bake both logs at 350 for 15 - 18 minutes or until tops are browned.

This award-winning recipe was given to me by the Gibson family, whom I have now known for more than a decade.

Wishing them a warm holiday season and bright New Year on their fabulous Caribbean cruise! Once more, here's to good friends and good travels! Cheers!
